Through time 

Through the years

Listen close

Can't you hear

It's here,

now

In your face like
 wow

Influencing generations

cultures, creeds

It's in the air that we breathe

and the moves we make

It's in the way we sleep and how we wake

And, the bond will never break

Everlasting, timeless, infinite 

basking in the sun's glow

Significant

In the change of the wind

A new incarnation of the same ol'

sin

Or blessing

whether in denial 

or confessing

It's the same as it ever was 

Sempiternal

We know this cause it was 

journaled

And in folklore

tested by science

Our surrenders

 our defiance

What we do echoes

and the ages can't let go

Fame or infamy 

What we do, today

Echoes for

eternity
