God save the queen

God save the queen, her image,  her soul

For she once led a monarch that raped, pillaged, stole

Gold, diamonds, land, boys, girls

In the name of the queen they attempted to colonize the world

Building a bloody kingdom by invading foreign lands

Preaching the gospel of the "powerful white man"

So God save the queen, not trying to be mean,

but while you're praying for her soul

Remember the commoners who were rolled

beaten, crushed, dealt a horrible fate

For the Monarch's ego and the moniker of "Great"

God save the queen and as you shed your tears

Remember the realm's victims who were oppressed for hundreds of years

The Celebration Song

MPLS Saint Paul Magazine

The Celebration Song

Let's Celebrate   Come on, Celebrate (4X)

Black Lives   Black Lives

Dragged here in chains from glory    The devil tried to break them down

But victory was the story in their eyes.    Dig if you will a people

Who overcame hateful souls.    And an oppression that was legal

And Still They Rise

Let's Celebrate.  Come on, Celebrate (4X)

Black Lives   Black Lives

Daring to die for freedom.  From backwards ignorant minds

And country immersed in evil, and denial

Determined, chosen people   Your story must be told

From school, screen, streets and church steeples

And Still You Rise

Let's Celebrate Come on, Celebrate (4X)

Black Lives

SHE

 SHE

She, mother of us all    She, reason we stand tall

She, beauty in the world      She, nurture man child, boy and girl.

   And she, is love

One that will never fade away

She's a goddess   A queen   She's the reason birds sing

She is love

She hums lullabies in their ear

And she, holds you close when you need her near

She gives the world with grace and style

She brokers peace with her smile

And she, is love

One that will never fade away

She's a goddess  A queen  The mother of human beings

She is love

Black Sea

See the tears in her eyes

Black Sea

Where Black Folks died

Feel the whips on their skin

In the cotton fields of american sin

And we know they gave their lives

So that we wouldn't suffer their plight

And we know we owe them a debt

So the world will not forget

The Black Sea is

The middle passage

Hear them demand their rights

Cause human shouldn't be lynch day and night

Say their names

Our Freedom Fighter

No, they did not die in vain

And we know they gave their lives

So that we would stand tall and fight

And we know we owe them a debt

So the world would
not erase or forget

The Black Sea is

The middle passage

A letter to my Love (The New Year's Song)

My love it's the (end) first of the year and Christmas time has come and gone

Can we keep that same spirit for New Years dreams have just begun

My love as the months go by, will we ever really learn how to love

One another, our sister and brothers, regardless of race or where we come from

Tell me, my love     Will we my love

My love will we (ever) elevate our minds and teach the young a better way

Teach them empathy, rational remedies of healing, for a brighter day

Tell me, my love   Will we my love

Or fate is in our hands

And we must do all that we can

To bring meaning to this life

And the truth to the light

Tell me, my love   Will we my love

The Privileged Princess And The Misguided Man

The Privileged Princess and the Misguided Man

Helpling retrumplicans implement voter suppression

Whitesplaining excuses with their noses in the air

But their folks aren't being affected so why should they care

"preserving the filibuster" for the grim to reap

Pretending some how the wolves would help shepard the sheep

Insincere, cold, callous and fake

The privileged princess and the misguided man

are enemies of the state
