The Legend of Angel's Night

As the fires raged

The city burned

And for a better day

the people yearned

From the devil's and demon's

that wreaked havoc in the night

For a little peace

a ray, a guiding light

And then one day

 it came in a flash

The revelation that only through

hard work, would last

So the people galvanized

and rallied  

with pride

Realizing goodness and evil

are choses

 and they lived deep

inside

each and every one of us

but if we come together

for what's right

That we, the people of

Detroit

could create

an 

Angel's Night
