or is fantasy

King's legacy

for we in this nation 

still practice discrimination

of race, color, creed

and of sexuality

we're bias toward gender

unfair as the lenders

of money or a hand

the least r burdened with more demands

Yet his dream built in faith

Is celebrated on this day

Giving hope to everyone

That some day we will overcome
