Ablution
Cleanse me of my sins
Cause before you know it
they 'll be back again
For the human life is all I know
Unlike others I can't claim
to know where spirit
come or go,
Or even hang or dwell
be it heaven, earth or even hell
I just attempt to live my life
without passing judgement disguised as advise
But as in all, some things creep in
Human nature
or curse
of flesh and skin
I just look to the sky
Peering into the grey
before my eyes
And, with open arms, I feel the rain begin
Ablutions come
Cleanse me again
