The Acknowledgment

 As we strive to make it through to a better, brighter day

And deal with the slings and arrows we've endured along the way 

May we appreciate the many blessings that were disguised as hurt and pain

And acknowledge the sun shines brighter after storms and heavy rain

For life is gifted to us from precious privilege to burden's bore

And divine favor and protection are given to those who give back more.
