Let her sleep

though you'd love to wake her,

 make love and take her

to the stars

again

Let her soul mend

from the stress of the pass

before your lives crossed paths

For know her face is so calm

and you feel the touch of her palm

upon your chest

as she rests

so peacefully

so let her be

at least until she sighs

or longingly looks

into your eyes

so lovingly and deep

until then 

let her sleep
