Now is the time. Lets come together 

Because we've been mired in hate, in what seems like forever

From tragedy to tragedy we live our lives

Glued in to the TV to see if any survived

But do we really care enough to make a change

Or will we continue to blame it on the mentally deranged

This culture of hate that we never really address

Whether racial, religious or political, it's a mess

A mess we can't talk about without getting up in arms

But how many deaths need to happen before we heed the alarm

 See time doesn't heal all, it just dulls the mind

So let's come together with urgency, because now is the time
