My love it's the (end) first of the year and Christmas time has come and gone

Can we keep that same spirit for New Years dreams have just begun

My love as the months go by, will we ever really learn how to love

One another, our sister and brothers, regardless of race or where we come from

Teach them empathy, rational remedies of healing, for a brighter day

Helpling retrumplicans implement voter suppression

Whitesplaining excuses with their noses in the air 

But their folks aren't being affected so why should they care

"preserving the filibuster" for the grim to reap

Pretending some how the wolves would help shepard the sheep

Insincere, cold, callous and fake
