What's wrong with us
Can't we see

Or our we too caught up
in personally misery

Everybody just wants to be
loved

Not that selfish
"You never give me enough"

Attention, time, money, things

But, a love that makes
the angels sing

A love that lifts the vale
to reveal the truth

There's nothing like friend

You can confide in

share your sins

Challenge

Challenges daunt the gifted

and talentless the same

The ultimate game of

complexity, persistence, 

fear

Do I belong here 

or 

can I rise

 above the chorus

of denies

Be the best 

of me

who I yearn to be

When my body is strong

and my mind is free

Defeated or in victory

Difficulty 

or advantage

Determined by how I

manage

 the

 challenge

In a world of scripted reality

and "fake news"

Be careful of who you "follow"

for many are fools

Realize what's really important

before it's too late

We don't know how it ends

but we all know

our fate

Why get caught up in the

minutiae,

the blandness of life

Like a prisoner of whim, circumstance,

and strife

Bland Land

Bland Land ain't it grand

Barren country for the bigoted

man

No Mas, no more

Closed the borders

Shut the doors

First we start with Mexico

Then the other colored folks

gotta go

My people we must take a stand

Create a paradise 

A Bland Land

No diversity
No non white neighbors

Just ghettos
for those who do our
hard labor

In the beginning
we'll claim it's just illegals
Then muddy the waters for all
colored people

Lock step, shoulder to shoulder, guns in hand
We'll create our utopia,
A Bland Land

And once our worthy war is won
We'll see our glorious work done

Ridding our soil of the ungrateful others
Then use our differences to turn on one another
